White powder coating being applied to a formed metal profile

Powder-coated parts in the colour you selected.

Add an available colour and gloss grade to an eligible part, with preparation, masking and cure handled in the same production order.

Order the finish with the geometry.

Choose powder coating while material, bends, holes and visible faces are still connected to the part. Available colours and gloss grades come from the live production catalogue rather than an open-ended colour promise.

State masking, mating surfaces and exposure requirements before checkout. Geometry with enclosed spaces, mixed materials or heat-sensitive components may require review before coating is accepted.

Identify the intended environment, appearance and any masked threads, electrical contacts, grounding points or close-tolerance interfaces.

01Reference

Colour

Provide the agreed colour reference and approve a physical sample when colour matching is critical.

02Sheen

Gloss

Matt, satin and gloss appearances reflect light differently and can change how colour is perceived.

03Surface

Texture

Smooth and structured finishes have different appearance, cleanability and ability to disguise substrate variation.

04Performance

Exposure

Indoor, exterior, marine and chemical environments require different pretreatments and powder systems.

Available materials for powder coating.

Available colours and gloss grades are confirmed during part configuration.

Confirm preparation, masking and cure requirements.

01
Surface

Prepare

Clean and pretreat the substrate according to material and required corrosion performance.

02
Coverage

Apply

Electrostatically deposit powder while managing recesses, edges, hanging and masking.

03
Film

Cure

Heat the part for the specified time and metal temperature so the coating develops correctly.

From bare part to a cured, handled finish.

01

Define the system

Confirm substrate, exposure, colour, gloss, texture and performance expectations.

02

Prepare and mask

Clean the surface and protect threads, contacts and no-coat interfaces.

03

Coat and cure

Apply the selected powder and cure it to the approved product schedule.

04

Inspect and pack

Review coverage and agreed appearance before protecting the finish for shipment.

Ordering a powder-coated part

Which colours can I choose?

Available colours are shown in the configurator for eligible materials. If colour, gloss or texture is critical, include the complete finish requirement.

Which areas should remain uncoated?

Identify threads, earth points, bearing surfaces and close fits that require masking or another post-process treatment.

Can I order an exterior coating?

State the exposure and expected service condition. Metalldel confirms whether the available pretreatment and powder system are suitable.

Can coating follow cutting and bending in one order?

Yes, when the part is eligible. Configure the colour and coating after the geometry and material have been accepted.

Specify the finish as a system, not only a colour.

Configure an available coating or send the colour, exposure and masking requirements for review.
